This museum features the history of the Knights of Columbus. The first thing a visitor will see upon entering the museum stairs is a cross that was hung atop St. Peter’s Basilica for nearly 400 years. There is an entire gallery devoted to the founder of the Knights of Columbus, Father Michael J. McGivney, who is being considered for sainthood by the Vatican. There is also a gallery devoted to Papal history.
