The Peabody Museum has been a Yale tradition since 1866.  It is a favorite among tourists, school children and adults,  the exhibits here are suitable for all ages.  The Peabody is famous for its great hall of dinosaurs which is always a big hit with the children and the children at heart.  They also offer exhibits of Egyptian mummies to Native American cultures.  While visiting New Haven this is a must see.

Parking is limited so visiting on the weekends is not recommended.
