Located just outside New Haven in East Haven Connecticut it is worth the short trip to visit this museum especially if you are traveling with children. This museum was founded in 1945 to preserve the unique heritage of the trolley car. Go on a nice day and enjoy a ride on a restored trolley car. The ride takes you along the shore line of Connecticut on old trolley car lines and stops at the trolley yard where your engineer will take you on a tour of the over 100 vintage trolley cars they painstakingly restore.
